About us
With a network of national coordinators connected to over 3000 local information providers and partners in 36 European countries, Eurodesk is one of the main sources of information on European policies and mobility opportunities for young people. We operate as a permanent support structure for the EU’s Erasmus+ programme. Our network also updates and manages content on the European Youth Portal. Eurodesk Brussels Link (EBL) is the coordinating body of the network and also the managing body of the Eurodesk brand. It ensures that the activities of Eurodesk national centres are aligned with the organisation's overall objectives and mission. It also provides first-hand European information on youth mobility as well as tools for training, information management, quality assessment and communication. EBL supports the European Commission in developing and maintaining the European Youth Portal, regularly editing European content, assessing the quality of Eurodesk national centres and giving them technical support.

🎉 Happy Europe Day everyone! Today, we celebrate peace and unity across the continent. 🇪🇺 💖 Dive into Emma Brownrigg Fenech's article, from the 2024 Pool of Young Journalists in Europe. She interviews Miriam Teuma, CEO of Aġenzija Żagħżagħ (the Erasmus+ National Agency in Malta). 🗳️ Only 31 days left until the European Elections! With the first phase of its EU Elections campaign behind us, Eurodesk is excited to launch the second phase. We're calling on young people and first-time voters to head to the polls and take charge of their future. It's crucial for young voters to get to know the candidates in their countries and cast their votes aligned with their own values and ideals. If young people abstain from voting in the 2024 European Elections, they're letting others make decisions for them — decisions they might not agree with. 🔵 Discover our engaging posters on our website: https://eurodesk.eu/rslB 🔵 Keep an eye on our Instagram and TikTok channels, as we'll be unveiling 2 new posters and videos every week! 🎥 #Eurodesk #YourVoteYourDecision #EUElections2024 #Vote #Europe #UseYourVote Image description: Don't let others choose for you. 🕊️ This day, celebrated annually on 3 May, serves as a global acknowledgement of the indispensable role journalists play in safeguarding democracy and championing freedom of expression. Established by the United Nations in 1993, it commemorates the "Windhoek Declaration" of 1991, which advocated for a free and independent press. In 2024, the theme "A Press for the Planet: Journalism in the face of the environmental crisis" highlights the crucial role of journalism in addressing environmental challenges. 42 days left until the European elections 🇪🇺 ✨ From 12-13 April, we joined the kick-off event of European Youth Week and the Level Up event at the European Parliament. Here's what we did: 🌟 We presented our EU Elections campaign (https://lnkd.in/eu3vbWar) in a session run by the European Parliament. 🤝 Together with European Youth Information and Counselling Agency (ERYICA) , we delivered a Euroclass session on Euro-participation and ran an EU Elections simulation. 🎪 We met and engaged with young people and informed them about Eurodesk and the many opportunities the EU offers to them to go abroad and experience the world! Fun fact: We also gave away some goodies made for the European Elections. From 6-9 June, it's an opportunity for young people to use their right to vote and pick who they want to represent them in the European Parliament. #eurodesk #Euroclass #UseYourVote #EUElections2024 #YourVoteYourDecision #EUYouthWeek #LevelUp Image description: Group picture of Eurodesk Brussels Link staff in the European Parliament.
