Screening Mental Health Literacy in Youth Information Work

In the framework of the YIminds-Youth information minding young people’s mental health Project, we have launched a survey to identify skills, attitudes and knowledge gaps of youth information professionals around mental health. The survey is available in different languages. DDL 31/05

Eurodesk Annual Overview 2022

The Eurodesk Annual Overview 2022 provides a comprehensive summary of the achievements of the network as a whole and Eurodesk structures at national level. It highlights the organisation's thematic focus on inclusion and participation, and its work during the European Year of Youth. It also features Eurodesk's efforts to address the impact of the pandemic on young people and promote fair access to information and mobility.

Freedom of Expression

European Gala Award

Eurodesk Brussels Link Director, Audrey Frith attended the European Gala Award Ceremony for Freedom of Expression held during Difference Day. Two exceptional personalities received the Honorary Title for Freedom of Expression: Jennifer Clement, US-Mexican former president of PEN International and Ravish Kumar, Indian critical journalist and media personality.

Survey: Living and working in the EU and neighbouring countries

EU elections dates

The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, has announced the dates of the next European elections to take place from 6 to 9 June 2024 and has invited everyone to be part of the largest democratic exercise in Europe. Eurodesk Romania at the Erasmus Generation Meeting (EGM)

Eurodesk was present at the 2nd edition of the Erasmus Generation Meeting (EGM), which took place on 6-9 April, in Bucharest, Romania. The event was organised by the Erasmus Student Network, with the support of the European Parliament and the Romanian Erasmus+ National Agency. More than 900 participants from all over Europe (Erasmus+ alumni, young people and relevant stakeholders) gathered to discuss the importance of international skills for more engaged societies.

The Eurodesk team hosted two dedicated sessions, presenting our tools for promoting youth opportunities and organising an interactive workshop on social media engagement. We were happy to present the Eurodesk Social Media Guidebook and share best practices on youth engagement from our network, leaving participants at the end with a creative challenge of creating their own Instagram Reels promoting the importance of mobility.
