Eurodesk welcomes the European Year of Skills
|

2023 will be the European Year of Skills, following the announcement by President Ursula von der Leyen in her 2022 State of the Union address. The Year will stress the importance of skills development to leave no one behind while boosting Europe’s recovery. For Eurodesk, the European Year of Skills will be a new opportunity to reach out and explain that participating in Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps and other initiatives are indeed beneficial for skills development and that they are for everyone!

Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps for Beginners
|
|
The new publication from our Eurodesk national coordinators in Poland, Wawrzyniec Pater and Waldemar Banaszek, aims to present the two largest educational programmes of the European Union in a comprehensive and synthetic way.
The authors argue that submitting applications and settling projects is not complicated at all, the chances of receiving a grant are high, and the rich and diverse offer of both programmes is adapted to the capabilities of both experienced organisations and those which apply for EU funds for the first time.
