AfriConEU: Bridging Continents, Empowering Youth
The AfriConEU project, a Transcontinental Networking Academy for African and European Digital Innovation Hubs, has been recognised by the European Commission for its outstanding work. It's now a Research & Innovation (R&I) Knowledge Valorisation Best Practice, marking its third major accolade. AfriConEU also received the 2023 .eu Web Award and the 2024 "Top EU-AU Research & Innovation Cooperation Success Stories" Award. These honors highlight its significant role in connecting research with practical application and strengthening EU-Africa collaboration.
Youthmakers Hub, a Eurodesk Greek Multiplier, played a key role in the project's success. AfriConEU is a powerful example of how collaboration drives social change, empowering young people across both continents with essential tools, knowledge, and networks.
