Eurodesk reaffirms its solidarity with the people of Ukraine, its Eurodesk partners and colleagues, as well as young people in Ukraine. Your pain and fight are our tragedies, too. We stand with you! There is no other way than peace.

If you need help to flee from Ukraine or if you want to offer help, check out these resources, updated regularly. They echo the statement on students, young people, education community by Commissioner Mariya Gabriel where she highlighted Erasmus+ students' exchanges and the European Solidarity Corps importance to promote understanding and solidarity among people from all countries and all backgrounds.

Launched by Commissioner Mariya Gabriel on the International Women’s Day on 8th March at the #EUwomen4future roundtable, the #SHEU leads brand-new social media campaign put young women in the spotlight and give them visibility in their respective fields.

Conference on the Future of Europe: 2nd set of citizens’ ideas at Conference Plenary

Ideas on EU in the world and migration, economy, social justice and jobs as well as culture, youth, sport and digital transformation to be assessed on 11-12 March during the 4th Conference Plenary at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

Launch of the European Charter for Youth & Democracy

The European Committee of the Regions, together with the European Youth Forum have launched the co-creation process of a European Charter for youth and democracy which will take place until the end of 2022. It will build and consolidate a youth friendly democratic space to ensure the voices of young people are represented in the EU.

Pack your bags and get... on board!

Eurodesk Czech Republic co-organised the festival Next stop: The World created by the Czech National Agency to celebrate the new programme period. This unique festival took place onboard a train that travelled to five Czech cities in five days.

Apart from five days full of information on how to study, train or volunteer abroad through Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps, visitors could enjoy slam poetry, contemporary circus, two famous musical guests each evening and so much more.
